In just over a month from now the HWBOT World Tour 2017 team will be heading to Brazil for the Latin American leg of the tour. The event will be held at the Campus Party in Sao Paulo, one of the biggest LAN parties on the continent. Today we are really happy to announce that tickets for the Sao Paulo 2017 event are now available.

The year begins of course with World Tour Las Vegas event, however to kick things off in true style we’re also inviting Overclockers, industry partners and media to join us for the ‘Performance Matters’ Kick Off Event, plus a Kick-Off Party. The last few days of 2016 remain but right now we are full gearing up for the HWBOT World Tour 2017. The good news is that tickets to the first World Tour stop are already available. Overclockers who want to attend (with the option to compete of course) the HWBOT World Tour Las Vegas event can now book themselves a ticket via the Eventbrite link below. Tickets are limited in quantity and are offered on a first come, first served basis.
Today we can confirm plans to host the first ever HWBOT Would Tour event on the West Coast of North America. The HWBOT World Tour Las Vegas event will be held at the GIGABYTE Suites on January 5th and 6th during the CES 2017 trade show. The event will start with a ‘Performance Matters’ launch event (with demos, speeches and a full blown party) followed by two days of overclocking workshops and contests, including the first Overclocking World Championship Qualifier.
The climax of the HWBOT World Tour 2016 is the World Championship Final, the last event event of the World Tour and the event that ultimately decides who gets to become World Champion of 2016. The inaugural Championship Finals were held at the Caseking Showrooms in Berlin, Germany last weekend, and I think it’s fair to say that they did not disappoint. After an incredible day of the extreme, sub-zero overclocking with some of the world’s very finest talent on display, Canadian Marc0053 managed to beat Poland’s Xtreme Addict to become the first ever HWBOT World Champion.
The HWBOT World Tour 2016 campaign finally draws to a close in just a few day’s time. The Championship Final will take place on December 4th at the Caseking headquarters in Berlin, Germany with eight of the world’s most formidable overclockers competing for the right to become HWBOT World Champion of 2016.
Of the eight overclockers we can now confirm seven. The winner of the ROG Camp 2016 contest is the only place that remains in play. That contest will be decided on December 3rd.

Here is confirmation of the rules and format for the HWBOT World Championship Finals that will be held in Berlin at the Caseking Headquarters in Berlin next week. The contest format for the World Championship Final will follow the same format that has been implemented throughout all the World Series 2016 contests.
