The OC – Las Vegas 2017 Qualifier contest saw eight respected and feared overclockers compete using the latest Intel Kaby Lake architecture processors, GIGABYTE Z270 motherboards and a ton on LN2. The dust has settled on the first stop of the HWBOT World Tour 2017 which of course concluded in Las Vegas 2017 just a day or two ago. As well as technology demonstrations and Overclocking Workshops, perhaps the real highlight of the three day event was the Overclocking World Championship Qualifier contest. The HWBOT World Tour 2017 started in fine style this week with the Performance Matters Kick Off Event and Party. The event was hosted by HWBOT, Intel and TechnkPR at The Palms Sky Villa in Las Vegas. Several top name Overclockers from around the world were invited to demonstrate the overclocking potential of the latest Intel processors. With industry partners and media invited to the Performance Matters Kick Off Party, it all proved to be fantastic way to launch Intel’s new Kaby Lake architecture Core processors and the HWBOT World Tour 2017. The first stop of the HWBOT World Tour 2017 is almost upon us. The last few days of 2016 remain but right now we are full gearing up for the HWBOT World Tour 2017. The good news is that tickets to the first World Tour stop are already available. Overclockers who want to attend (with the option to compete of course) the HWBOT World Tour Las Vegas event can now book themselves a ticket via the Eventbrite link below. Tickets are limited in quantity and are offered on a first come, first served basis.
Today we can confirm plans to host the first ever HWBOT Would Tour event on the West Coast of North America. The HWBOT World Tour Las Vegas event will be held at the GIGABYTE Suites on January 5th and 6th during the CES 2017 trade show. The event will start with a ‘Performance Matters’ launch event (with demos, speeches and a full blown party) followed by two days of overclocking workshops and contests, including the first Overclocking World Championship Qualifier.
