HWBOT OC World Championship Final: December 9th-10th, 2017

The HWBOT World Tour 2017 visited ten countries around the world this year. At each stop an Overclocking World Championship Qualifier contest was held, an extreme overclocking contest where the region’s most talented overclockers went head to head to compete for a seat in the Final. Here are some shots of the guys as they are prepped by HWBOT contest organizers and generally getting to know each other, plus shots of the trophies that were lined up for the winners.

Overclocking involves a great deal of concentration for long periods of time. Once things get under way, competitive consternation soon replaced the smiles.

Here’s a great shot of the Alva ‘Lucky_n00b’ Jonathan and BlueFiber, the two Indonesian competitors in the contest, making Indonesia the best represented country in the contest.

“Alva, are you wearing special overclocking pants?”…. “Yep… 100% LN2 proof Chandra my boy.”

As things moved on to the Elimination Phase, the tensions rose and the LN2 flowed.

This death stare could rival that of the Cookie Monster himself!

Sometimes we get caught up the act of BIOS adjustment that we engage our whole body.

In the end the Italian rsannino took the top prize, enjoying a undefeated win. In second place we have steponz, while Dancop was  third, Wizerty was fourthand DrWeez was fifth. Here are some shots of the winners.

Congrats to rsannino (Italy)
