OCWC Yogyakarta 2017: Day Two – Final Phase

Yesterday we brought you a full roundup from Day One of the Overclocking World Championship Yogyakarta 2017 Qualifier contest. Four of Indonesia’s top extreme overclockers rose to the occasion and made to the Final Phase. OCWC Yogyakarta 2017: Day One – Qualification Phase

Over the weekend we saw the kick off of the Yogyakarta 2017 leg of this year’s HWBOT World Tour. The event is organized in conjunction with the Jagat Review crew who were also holding their annual Amateur Overclocking Tournament or AOCT (see our coverage of that contest here). In terms of Extreme Overclocking however, the main action is all about the Overclocking World Championship, or OCWC. The first day of the OCWC Yogyakarta 2017 Qualifier contest took place yesterday afternoon with a Qualifying Phase that saw several of Indonesia’s most feared subzero overclockers going head to for a place in the Finals.

Just yesterday the Yogyakarta 2017 leg of the HWBOT World Tour moved on from the AOCT contest and amateur ambient overclocking, kicking of the next competitive overclocking contest of the week, -the one and only Overclocking World Championship Yogyakarta 2017 Qualifier contest. Hosted at Yogyakomtek, one of South East Asia’s biggest tech tech exhibitions, HWBOT and Jagat Review set out to find out which Indonesian overclocker will appear in the OCWC Finals at the end of the year. Yogyakarta 2017 – BlueFiber and IvanCupa Win Amateur Overclocking Tournament (AOCT) 2017

Each year the team at Jagat Review (also Jagat OC) hold the Amateur Overclocking Tournament (AOCT), a contest that sets out to determine the best amateur overclocker in Indonesia. The contest has a long history and is actually one of the earliest examples of a technology website and community actively recruiting overclockers to help grow and nurture the hobby.
